Tips for caregivers
Taking care of a loved one with cancer can be difficult. The care you provide is incredibly important, but it’s just as important that you take care of yourself.
Here are some ways to deal with the stress of caring for someone with cancer:
Focus on your wellness with a
healthy diet and exercise.
Ask for help from family and friends in caring for your loved one.
Do things you enjoy outside the home, such as meeting a friend for lunch or taking a walk.
Seek help from a support group or mental health professional.
